Paddington Bear Red Rain Coat  Plush Darkest Peru London England 1975 Vintage
Rare, 1975 vintage, unique, adorable 9" stuffed, plush Paddington Bear is wearing a darling red removable rain slicker and hat, which is attached to his head in the back and has white rope like ties.  On his jacket, embroidered in yellow are the initials PB.  He's tan in color with darker brown foot pads.  He has solid black round eyes and black felt ears (see picture).  He has an
embroidered black
nose.  He has pellets in his bottom to help him be stable when he sits.
Around his neck is a tag that says Darkest Peru etc. (see picture for exact wording) and on the opposite side it reads; Please look after this bear, Thank you.  From his left hand is one tag that reads Eden and on the opposite side are cleaning instructions (see picture for exact verbiage).  The last tag explains how you could order a duffle coat and hat (see picture for all of the instructions). He also has the original tush tags (see picture).
He's one of the cutest Paddington's I've ever seen and very rarely seen wearing the red rain coat.

One owner, excellent, mint, pristine condition from her private doll collection.  She’s collected dolls over 30 years and has recently had to downsize and sadly has no room for all her dolls, so she hopes someone will cherish them as much as she has.  Never played with.
