Vintage Original NYC Tunnel Toll Booth Advertising Reverse Painted fare sign .20

You're purchasing a Vintage and Original NYC area framed reverse painted glass .20 cent tunnel toll sign.  It's very attractive featuring a black back round with gold lettering.  This very unique piece of transportation history hung at one of the NYC tunnel toll crossings.   I'm not sure which tunnel it was for though.  I'd date it as 40's or 50's based on the style of the workmanship and the cost of the toll.  It's in nice overall shape.  There is some fogging on the glass and some minor flecks missing from the sign but nothing to distract.  You can also see where someone filled in a very small part of the black in a corner with either paint of a marker.  It's got a cool, old and vintage ogee type frame and a gold border.  The frame is attractive but does have a few scratches and scuffs.  If you're into a unique and different kind of vintage transportation collectible this is it.  The piece is substantial and weighs several pounds.
The glass sign is 27" long and 4"wide.
Framed it's 32 3/4" long by 9" wide.
