Vintage Masonic Scottish Rite Satrap Cape Costume Regalia Medieval

Based upon research, this vintage item is regalia of the Freemasons.
Beautifully constructed purple purple silk charmeuse or silk satin imitation, gold soutache with very large embroidered Fleur de Lis medallion, gold fringe, has a sun embroidered on the back in gold crewel that features cabochon rhinestone beads. Label reads Pettibone Bros MFG Co. Satrap. Numbers 85-53, L2 are marked inside the garment. As shown hanging is 54" across minus the fringe. Distance between neck to hem fringe 36.5"
Note: This cape is very heavy
This piece came from a lodge that closed down about six years ago.  I have no idea of how old it may be.
