Vintage Masonic Guard Uniform Costume Medieval Coat Size 42 Regalia Halloween

Based upon research, this vintage item represents "Guard" regalia of the Freemasons.
Beautifully constructed green silk faille (or a very good imitation of it).  Gold band with white trim at the waist, fleur des li embroidered soutache medallions set within long multiple panels beginning at the waist, has silver metallic armor scale repeating pattern on the top outlined in black, closes with 9 hidden metal snaps, label from C.E. Ward New London, Ohio, second label marked Guard 42, inside is marked with stamped red ink "63" on the right panel and "11" on the left, below that is marked an "L" in black. shoulder to hem is 48" L x 19.5" shoulder to shoulder x 24" across the x chest x 40" W
This piece came from a lodge that closed down about six years ago.  I have no idea of how old it may be.
