    Description

    Based upon research, this vintage item is regalia of the Freemasons and is related to Frederick II.
    Beautifully constructed black satin outside and fully lined with white satin, the front features white crewel embroidered fleur de Lis, original metal neck guard with 2 medallions on either side with a chain in the middle, label from C.E. Ward New London, Ohio, second label marked Frederick II -  27(degree  symbol), inside is marked with stamped red ink "63" on the right panel and "19" on the left, below that is marked an "L" in black 86" W at the bottom hem x 57" L
    Note: This cape is very heavy
    This piece came from a lodge that closed down about six years ago.  I have no idea of how old it may be.
