    Description

Hiram Lodge No. 1, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, New Haven, Connecticut, recently cleaned out their storage closet at their temple. Part of what was uncovered was this complete set of officers' aprons from the mid-twentieth century. This set was acquired by Hiram Lodge when two other New Haven Lodges, Olive Branch No. 84 and Connecticut Rock No. 92, merged in the 1980's with Hiram, the oldest Masonic Lodge in Connecticut chartered in 1750. While there are no distinguishing marks on the aprons, a Past Master from Olive Branch Lodge confirmed that they once belonged to that Lodge.
These leather faced aprons are well used but in good condition. The four-color embroidery work is stunning, especially the All Seeing Eye on each apron. Included in this set are aprons for Worshipful Master, Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Chaplain, Secretary, Treasurer, Senior Deacon, Junior Deacon, Tyler, Marshal and two Stewards. Whether you are looking to clothe the officers in your Lodge with a bit of Masonic history or wish to display them in your home or office, these aprons will make a beautiful addition to your collection. Newer and sets of lesser quality can cost upwards of 0.
All proceeds from this sale will go to the Hiram Lodge Master's Relief Fund helping Brothers and their families in their time of need.
