A collectible bicolor coin "Coin of Prosperity" ("Turtle")
The bicolor coin (tantalum + silver) is made in the form of an amulet medallion. At the top of the coin there is a recess that can be used to create a hole for a chain or lace. The coin uses tantalum in the form of a figured insert, which has the shape and color of a turtle's shell. The technology of changing the color of tantalum was used in the manufacture of coins. The graphic composition "Coin of Prosperity" is based on two important interpretations of the turtle symbol in Chinese mythology. The first is the turtle as a symbol of longevity, good luck and prosperity. The second is the legend of the Lo Shu magic square, which has a powerful protective power. According to legend, the turtle is a symbol of health and longevity. The main advantage of the talisman is that it is able to attract good luck to the house in which it is located, improves the standard of living, and helps in solving any business and problems that arise. A turtle shell means stability and reliability, so the image of this animal will most of all help the owner of the house, the main person in the family. According to legend, the Lo Shu square appeared around 2200 BC in Ancient China, when a large turtle climbed onto the bank from the Luo River, on the shell of which there was a strange pattern of dots, having ordered it, they found nine sectors with numbers arranged in a certain sequence. Moreover, when the numbers from 1 to 9 are sequentially connected by lines, the symbol "seal of the planet Saturn" is obtained, which was used in ancient Chinese magic. This symbol is also called the symbol of the nine emperors. It is believed that he has a very powerful protective force and as a talisman is able to protect his master. No matter how you add the numbers in any direction, you will always come to a total of 15. The number 15 is considered powerful, since it corresponds to the number of days in each of the 24 cycles of the Chinese solar year. In other words, this is the number of days in the lunar cycle - from the new moon to the full one.
A bicolor (composite) coin has a complex shape.
On the obverse
(obverse) of the coin, in the central part, there is an inscription “100 TENGHE”, denoting the denomination of the coin, framed by the national ornament. In the upper part there is the logo of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and elements of national ornament. Around the circumference there are inscriptions: "ҚАЗАСТAN REPUBLICASY" in the state language, "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English, and the second line - elements of national ornament, the number "2017", indicating the year of minting, the inscription "Ag 925 19.3g Ta 20.0g ", Denoting the metal from which the coin is made, its fineness and weight.
The reverse side
(reverse) of the coin depicts a turtle with a stylized image of nine figures of the "Lo Shu Magic Square" applied to the shell. Along the circumference there are inscriptions "IGILIK MONETASY" in the state language, "COIN OF WELL-BEING" in Russian, "THE WELL - BEING COIN" in English and elements of national ornament. The images and inscriptions on the obverse and reverse sides of the coin are embossed; a protruding edging runs along the perimeter.
