The
Tobol Thinker
- the famous sculpture of a man made of sandstone is in the collection of the National Museum of Kazakhstan. The sculpture dates from the end of the 3rd - the beginning of the 2nd millennium BC. Found near the city of Kostanay in 1976.
On the obverse
along the perimeter of the coin there is a wide frosted edging, on which there are the inscriptions "QAZAQSTAN RESPÝBLIKASY", "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN", the inscription "500 TEŃGE" indicating the denomination of the coin, the inscription "Ag 926 16g Ta 13.5g" of which the coin was made, its fineness and weight. In the center of the coin, framed by an ornamental rosette - the State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On the reverse
there is a stylized sculpture of the “Tobol Thinker” against the background of a collage consisting of well-known scientific symbols personifying the genius of human thought, striving to reveal the secrets of the origin of life and the mysteries of the universe. A wide frosted edging runs along the perimeter of the coin, on which is the year of minting and the inscription "TOBYL OISHYLY", "TOBOLTHINKER", the inscription "2019" indicating the year of minting.
