KM 6, one year type, for a possession of Indonesia. Five cent size aluminum coin, with Sukarno (the president of Indonesia 1945-67) on the obverse.
Coins for Riau were legal tender from October 1963 to July 1964; they were recalled as worthless in September 1964.  The coins for Irian Barat were issued in 1964 and were recalled at the end of 1971.
The coins are all dated 1962.  The obverses and reverses of the Riau and Irian Barat are identical; the difference is on the edge.  Riau coins have lettered edges, including the word "Riau".  Irian Barat coins have plain edges for the lower denominations, and reeded edges for the higher denominations.
