- The 16-Count Tip Collection WalMart Exclusive from 2014: Tip is more of a spirit than a person. In fact, he so loved the creative energy in kids that he decided to take the form of a Crayola Crayon way back in 1903. That is the same year the first Crayola Crayon was made! Each box includes 16 Crayons with Tip Character:

The Crayola Meltdown boxes (with 8 crayons) came out in 2012. They were only available at select WalMart stores. They were made because melting crayons had become very popular and the boxes featured themed colors and melted crayons on the box. There were 12 themed boxes; the ones I have available are:

Target's 2011-2014 'Pick Your Pack' boxes were very popular and featured 16 themed crayons that complimented each other. These were the last of the themed sets for a few years, with a new set not coming until 2017. Each box has 16 colors:

In 2015, Universal Studios partnered with Target and Crayola to release a special line of Minion themed crayons. The boxes each feature a theme with corresponding crayons and descriptions. The boxes have 8 crayons each:
