Up for sale today is this Arkansas Scenic Byway route sign. Made to the exact state standard as used to the present day. these scenic byway signs are most often associated with state route 7 - a major north-south route that stretches from Missouri to Louisiana, primarily through the Ozarks.
An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets.  So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble.
The sign is flat printed with completely accurate layout and fonts.  It weighs about 5 pounds, 2 ounces, and is the smallest of three sizes: 16 by 16 inches.  The three sizes are 16, 24, and 36 inch circles, with the 16 inch being almost obsolete and very rarely seen, and the 36 inch used for freeways and expressways.
This is a high quality, heavy steel sign.  Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
