    Description

This beautiful, hand-emroidered, antique, Scottish Rite 33rd Degree Ceremonial Sash is richly embellished in
gold bullion thread along with colorful threading with beautiful designs. The workmanship is top notch.  The colors are still very bright and vibrant. It depicts the crowned double-headed eagle with their Latin motto "Deus Meumque Jus"
    meaning
    God and my right
    .
There is a pull in the thread but I haven't done anything to fix it.  It is barely noticable and can probably be hidden or fixed but I left it as is.
I am guess its age to be somewhere between the late 1800s or the early 1900s based on the other things that were with it and some internet research.  When searching, the only similar sashes were in museums or private collections.  So, this is a rare opportunity to be able to proudly display this beautiful piece of Masonic history.
The length is aprox. 36" long x 4.75" wide.  The backing is purple satin.  The coloring may look blue but it is royal purple.
I will ship sash via USPS priority mail with the proper insurance based on final selling price.
Thanks for looking and please look carefully as I do not accept returns.
