    Please note that this is a PICK UP ONLY auction or I can bring it to the York Maine area within one week of the auction's end.
    Offered for auction is a one of a kind (assuming no others exist with this exact wording) cast iron sign directing motorists to Winslow and Vassalboro. Rear side indicates that it was cast by the Lebanon Machine Co Inc of Lebanon New Hampshire. Some other examples by them are marked ' Leb Iron '
    Measures about 41 inches high including the pipe segment and 33 1/2 inches wide.
    Condition as seen in the photographs. Small chip in the rim molding and the sign pole appears to have been changed several times with the remaining section being welded to the piece.
    A rare piece of early Maine automobile / highway / road history.
