This 2022 Mongolia 2oz High Relief Silver Faberge-Rosebud Egg coin is graded a perfect PR70DCAM by PCGS and is a First Day of Issue. The coin has an extremely low mintage of only 888 and the Mint is sold out. The coin comes with a themed box and Certificate of Authenticity.
This amazing coin is CIT’s 3rd release in a series honoring the famous Fabergé eggs. This coin honors the famous “Rosebud” Fabergé egg. Originally created by Michael Perchin under the careful eye of master jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé in 1895, it was given to Empress Alexandra Feodorovna by Czar Nicholas II of Russia. The magnificent egg was created to remind the Empress of the yellow roses that she missed dearly from her homelands. The egg now sits in the Fabergé Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia and was part of a 9-egg collection that was purchased from Malcom Forbes for 0 million.
The obverse features the Mongolian Coat of Arms along with the denomination, weight, and purity of the coin.
