This is a rare unused billboard paper set for 1949 NASCAR races billed as
"National Championship Circuit"
This set was stored in a home in the Charlotte NC area by a gentleman who's occupation was putting up signage across the area.  He stored this set for many years and it has survived for 73 years with excellent color.
This is the standard complete set minus the sponser/track/date 4 sheet which would have been placed right of the main 8 sheet set. There is no significant damage to these sheets.
I have included a photo above of how these billboards were displayed in the 1949/1950 season. Specifically this photo shows the Langhorne Speedway being advertised, courtesy of the RC Maxwell Collection.

The individual sheets each measure approximately 54"x41" maxing this full set measure 108" tall x 164" wide.
